We are providing identification service for broad spectrum of fungi. We collaborate with local and abroad research institutes and universities on molecular characterization and phylogenetic analyses of fungi from clinical material, forest macromycetes, plant pathogens, soil fungi etc.
Chrysosporium speluncarum A. Nováková & M. Kolařík a new species living on bat guano in caves of Central Europe. This species mimic Histoplasma anamorph of Ajellomyces capsulatus, which is important human pathogen. Both species share the same habitat but C. speluncarum is not pathogenic to mammals.
