SUMMARY:EMBO Practical Course "Super-resolution in Light Microscopy"
DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \n  \nWe are pleased to announce the upcoming EMBO Practical Course „Super-resolution in Light Microscopy\,“ \ntaking place from June 15–22\, 2025\, Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IMG) in Prague. \n  \nThis 8-day course combines theoretical talks\, lectures from leading experts in the field\, and practical demonstrations with hands-on sessions using advanced microscopy systems. \n  \nFollowing the introductory day\, the course is structured into three thematic 2-day blocks: \n\nConfocal-based super-resolution (optical/mathematical reassignment\, adaptive deconvolution\, and radial fluctuations)\nStructured Illumination Microscopy (SIM)\nNanoscopy techniques (Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy – SMLM\, and Stimulated Emission Depletion microscopy – STED)\n\nThe last day is focused on deconvolution of SR images and QC approaches. \n  \nFor the course\, we have gathered an outstanding group of international experts who will deliver lectures and keynotes and participate actively in practical demonstrations.
