General Information

The Czech local currency is the Czech crown (CZK). The exchange rate is approx. 1 Euro = 25 Czech crowns. Change money only at official Check Points (baggage claim area at the airport, airport arrival hall, hotels, banks, Check Points on streets). Most smaller shops accept only Czech crowns; supermarkets and some other shops also accept credit cards and Euros.


Travel directions from Prague airport to the hotel Diplomat
  1. Public transport by bus – cheapest (26 CZK):
    Buy a ticket for 26 Czech crowns from automatic vending machines located at the bus stop just outside of the arrival hall, at the Prague public transportation booth in the arrival hall or in some tobacco shops and newstands in the airport, or for 30 Czech crowns (exact change only) directly from the bus driver.
    Take bus No. 119 to the last stop/terminal in the front of the hotel Diplomat (journey duration 25 min).
  2. CEDAZ Minibuses – public shuttle bus from the airport to the centre of Prague, 120,- CZK ticket for one person (get off at Dejvická metro station).

  3. Yellow Taxi AAA – price from the airport to the hotel Diplomat is approx. 400 CZK.

Travel directions from Prague railway station (Praha Hlavni nadrazi) to the hotel Diplomat

Take the metro line C in the direction to Haje and go one stop to the station Muzeum. Change to line A in the direction to Dejvicka (terminal station). Exit the underground platform in the same direction as the train was traveling. The metro station Dejvicka is located very close to the hotel Diplomat.
