Introduction:

Cian O’Connor is a postdoctoral researcher in the Tissue engineering research group led by Prof. Fergal O’Brien, RCSI & physiology graduate from Trinity College Dublin with an interest in cellular neuroscience and biomaterials. His interest lies in studying glial cells and technological advancements associated with therapeutic treatments particularly via stem cell culture, development of scaffold implants, the use of non-viral gene delivery and electroconductive materials.
