The Institute of Molecular Genetics CAS together with the research infrastructure Czech-BioImaging would like to invite you to attend the course “Microscopy methods in biomedicine”, which will be held on 12. – 16. 10. 2026 in Prague.

The five-day theoretical course with practical demonstrations and exercises, is devoted to modern methodologies of light and electron microscopy. The program of the course is updated every year to reflect new trends in microscopy. The course covers general methods and fundamental approaches in microscopy, as well as cutting edge techniques like super-resolution light microscopy, fast confocal spinning disc acquisition or light sheet microscopy and imaging of whole living organisms.

The course is intended for PhD students and young researchers in the biomedical fields.

The course is taught in English.
