„Targeting plectin-mediated cytoskeletal crosstalk in hepatocellular carcinoma“
Anotace: The study’s findings indicate that the elevation of plectin in tumor hepatocytes is associated with the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This progression can be inhibited through genetic or pharmacological targeting of plectin. The oncogenic and invasive potentials of HCC cells are attenuated through plectin ablation, suggesting that plectin contributes to HCC’s metastatic capacity. These results identify plectin as a potential therapeutic target in HCC.
