“Impact of Medulloblastoma-Derived Extracellular Vesicles on Neural Stem/Progenitor Cells”
Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in children. Recent advances in understanding its genetic and molecular heterogeneity have uncovered at least four distinct subgroups, each characterized by unique transcriptional profiles, DNA alterations and clinical outcomes. Extracellular vesicle secretion has emerged as a critical mediator of communication within the tumor microenvironment. In this presentation, we will discuss our progress in deciphering the effects of extracellular vesicles derived and purified from medulloblastoma cells on neural stem/progenitor cell gene expressions.
